Getting started with Goli: dogs, intentions and connections

A practical guide to your dog profiles, choosing an active dog and finding connections on Goli.

Start with your dog's profile

Goli connects dog owners through their dogs. Create your account, complete onboarding and add your first dog's profile. Your account can manage more than one dog, so each dog can have their own photos and intentions.

Choose what you are looking for

Dog profiles can express playdate, breeding or friends intentions. Choose the context that fits your dog and review the other profile before deciding to connect. Profile details come from owners; they are not veterinary verification.

Know which dog is active

Your active dog is the dog you are browsing and connecting as. If you manage several dogs, check the active dog selector before exploring or liking a profile. Managing another dog's profile is separate from making that dog active.

From a like to a conversation

Discover and Explore help you browse dogs. A mutual like creates a match between two dogs. Connections brings your matches together, and Messages lets their owners talk. Read the dog names in a conversation when you manage several dogs.

Keep control of your experience

Use the report and block controls when you need them. You can also archive a dog's profile and restore it later from your account. Before arranging anything offline, discuss expectations directly with the other owner.
